Food & Supply Drives
To support various causes, ActionPAKT hosts supply drives in order to collect items and food for the people who need them most. We inspect each item to make sure it is in usable (gently used) or new condition. Students often earn limited service hours for their donations, and we partner with organizations and clubs such as NHS to allow kids to earn NHS points as well.

“SOUP”er Bowl Canned Food Drive (Spring 2022): To help alleviate food insecurity, over 50 students earned 395 service hours by donating and collecting over 1,000 meals (1,408 cans of food) for Feeding South Florida. The canned food drive had a twist to make things interesting: students had to place their cans in one of two bins, depending on which Super Bowl team they were rooting for.
School Supply Drive for Broward Education Foundation (Fall 2022): To provide school supplies to teachers and students in Title I schools in Broward County, South Florida, 140 students donated about 1,490 new and gently used items such as backpacks, stationary, story books, etc. In total, they earned 135 service hours and 140 NHS points.
